Tam Curley is a workforce readiness expert, compliance strategist, and author dedicated to inspiring personal growth and systemic change. With a professional background spanning federal workforce development and national grant administration, Tam creates practical resources that bridge the gap between hard-to-hire individuals and sustainable careers.
She is the author of The Self-Help Guide for Returning Citizens, a comprehensive pre-release career planning framework built directly from her years of experience as a Job Developer (Certified Offender Workforce Development Specialist) in a federal halfway house. Her unique insight into the funding and mechanics of reentry is backed by her work as a panel grant reviewer for the U.S. Department of Labor (Employment & Training Administration), where she evaluated training program grants for ex-offenders, at-risk youth, foster youth, veterans, long-term unemployed and underemployed.
Beyond her reentry advocacy, Tam is an accomplished storyteller, strategic communicator, and civil mediator. Her diverse catalog includes captivating children's books designed to teach self-love and resilience to the next generation.
Her career began in journalism, writing profiles for The Jackson Free Press (Jackson, MS) and The Rambler Newspaper (Irving, TX). An interviewer at heart, her most memorable assignment was profiling A'lelia Bundles, the great-great-granddaughter of Madam C.J. Walker—America’s first self-made female millionaire.
Today, Tam leverages her multi-disciplinary expertise in compliance, media, and civil mediation to help organizations build impactful engagement strategies and help individuals resolve complex disputes.
